Finally, Paris!

Dear friends,

I am thrilled to inform you that yesterday, Monday, July 15th, I arrived at Gare de Lyon in Paris with all my teammates from the national swimming team. This week, we will be staying at a splendid location just outside Paris, at the Château de Méry our Oise, where we will continue our training peacefully. We have access to a recently built pool just 10 minutes away from the hotel.

On July 21st, we will move into the Olympic Village of Paris 2024, where athletes from various sports competing in the French capital will arrive over the next few days. I am looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of these summer games. Most of all, I cannot wait to compete at the Défense Arena, a spectacular indoor multipurpose venue usually used for rugby, but which now hosts two 50-meter pools—one for competition and the other for warm-ups, training, and cooldowns.

The swimming events will commence on July 29th, with my first race scheduled for the morning of July 30th in the 200m butterfly heats. The 100m butterfly heats are set for the morning of August 3rd. I will keep you updated as always on my social media and website. Stay tuned!
