Lublin: European Short Course Championships

The European Short Course Championships in Lublin are now behind us, and we can consider the short-course season practically over, with the exception of the Swiss Team Championships, which will take place, as usual, in April.
The results I achieved in Poland can undoubtedly be considered very good. It was an intense, non-stop race schedule that saw me compete fourteen times in six days, earning three European titles and a silver medal, in addition to reaching the final with the men's 4x100 medley relay. My times were more than solid, although I believe I can do even better in the future.
Now it’s time for a Christmas break, to rest both body and mind; the latter, once again, proved to be an ally in managing the races and performing at my best.
At the beginning of January, we will dive into the long-course season, which will culminate in mid-August with the European Championships in Paris. Over seven months of training, punctuated by a few preparatory competitions and the Swiss Championships, to try to achieve even more success.
