Internazionali d'Italia, Sette colli Trophy, Rome

Excellent pre-Olympic test at the Internazionali d'Italia, Seven Hills Trophy, in this last weekend, in the beautiful pool of the Foro Italico in Rome, in the presence of many top European and Brazilian athletes.
Beyond the second place behind Milak in the 100 butterfly the third step of the podium reached in the 50 butterfly, I am very satisfied with the times set in this period of approach to the appointment of the Olympics Games: in particular, the 1.56.10 in the 200 butterfly (less than one second from my Swiss record) and the 51.59 in the 100 butterfly (just over 4 tenths of my Swiss record) represent chronometric responses that bode well for the highlight of the year. Now, a couple of weeks of training are waiting for me in Tenero, with a probable appearance at the Swiss Summer Championships to try once again the 100 dolphin, before leaving for Japan, where I will spend a period of acclimatization and refinement of the preparation. The start of the swimming competitions at the Olympics is scheduled for July 24: I can't wait!
