PHOTO OF THE MONTH

Dear friends, last weekend I competed in my first race since the Tokyo Olympics and, in fact, my first short course race in a year. It was a competition that is part of the preparation for the World Championships in the short course in Abu Dhabi, which I will take part in a month from now and which in turn represent a stage in the long journey that will take me to the two events that are my main goals this year: the World Championships in Fukuoka at the end of May and the European Championships in Rome in August. Considering the moment and the type of competitions (short distances in a 25 m pool) I am satisfied with my performance, although I think I could have done better in the 100 butterfly. However, I came home with two new Swiss records (50 and 100 fly) out of three races (in the 100 IM I only improved my personal best). The next appointment, from November 19 to 21, will be the Swiss short course Championship, in Sursee. I will keep you informed.
