PHOTO OF THE MONTH
Venice, with my family, the view from a rooftop, near the Rialto bridge, 16-04-2022.
After three weeks of intensive training in St. Moritz, last weekend I took part at the CIG (Geneva International Meeting). In continuation of the heavy training loads carried out in the mountains, I took part in several races (50 butterfly, 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 200 IM and 200 backstroke). The aim of my participation in Geneva was not to achieve a performance in terms of times and podiums, but to continue my preparation for the start of the season. In this sense, I am satisfied with the work done, the results obtained and to have had the opportunity to compete alongside some strong swimmers and friends, especially from nearby Italy. Thanks to the organizers of Genève Natation 1885 for giving us the opportunity to compete in this difficult pandemic period.
