European championships, Rome, Foro italico 11/17 August 2022

We are only a few days away from the European Championships in Rome and I can finally dispel the last doubts about my participation in the competitions: my physical condition has gradually improved and in the last week I have been able to train with greater intensity. Unfortunately, the after-effects of the COVID created bronchial problems for me, which required medication. On Friday I had a new examination by the pulmonologist, who confirmed the progress I had already felt in training. I will therefore be in Rome for the European Championships, although I am not yet certain that I will compete in all the races in which I am entered: we will evaluate day by day, taking into account that I have not been able to train as well as I would have liked during these past month and a half, in order to arrive in Rome at my best. However, I look forward with confidence and will do everything I can to be competitive. From 11 to 17 August you can also follow the European championships on RSI.
