European Championships, Bucharest, 5 / 10 - 12 - 2023

Nelson Mandela once said: “a winner is a dreamer who never gives up”
I never gave up on my dream of standing on the top of a podium hearing the Swiss hymn and worked hard to make it happen. I can only say that the reality exceeded the expectations!
These European Championships have been an absolute dream: an historic tris of gold medals in the 50/100/200 butterfly and a 100 IM silver medal!
To top it off, I established a new European and Championships Record in the 100 butterfly, 3 Swiss Records (and a pretty amazing time in the 50 butterfly).
Nothing of all this would have been possibile without my family, my coaches, my team and swissaquatics: thank you for helping me achieve my dreams!
I would not be able to achieve my goals without my sponsors: thank you for your support and believing in me!
To all my fans: I’m so grateful for each one of you!

Lastly, but not least, there is still a lot of work to be done and lots of dreams to achieve, so this just gives me even more motivation to get back to work!
