Lublin, European Short Course Championships

The European Short Course Championships in Lublin are now behind us, and the short course season can be considered practically over, with the exception of the Swiss Team Championships which will take place, as usual, in April.
The results I achieved in Poland can without doubt be considered very good. An intense, non-stop race programme saw me dive in fourteen times in six days, winning three European titles and a silver medal, as well as reaching the final with the men's 4x100 medley relay. More than solid times too, although I believe I can do even better in the future.
Now it is time for a Christmas break, to rest body and mind; the latter, I believe, was once again my ally in managing the races and staying at peak performance.
From early January we will dive into the long course season, culminating in mid-August with the European Championships in Paris. Over seven months of training, broken up by a few preparation meets and the Swiss Championships, trying to achieve further success.
